Meditating in Nature: retreat in our natural surroundings
Three secluded meditation areas.
The first is the Chinese Garden, located at the far end of St. Philomena Hall. Quiet and cool, it invites retreatants to an intimate conversation with God.
The second is Madonna Grove, which is accessed near the trail head to the Stations of the Cross. Our Lady is enshrined in a cathedral-like grove of Redwood Trees and many hear God’s whisper in the gentle breezes at the feet of Our Lady.
The third is dedicated to St. Anne and is found on the far end of St. Agnes Hall overlooking the valley below. Located on relatively flat ground, it is a short walk from the bottom floor of St. Agnes Hall and is an inviting place to pray the Rosary.
