The location and accommodations at St. Clare’s Retreat will help you enter into peace, solitude and contemplation allowing you to hear the whisper of the Lord.

The public areas of the Lounge/ Library, Chapel, Dining Hall and wrap around deck all have expansive views of the forest and lower lawn. The grounds are replete with places for meditation, walking/ hiking, praying the Stations of the Cross or the Way of St. Francis, or looking out over the valley in wonder at God’s creation at Meditation Point or Contemplation Rock. You will frequently spy deer, rabbits, racoons, squirrels, and birds going about their business.

The scenery is seasonal, bursting forth with a myriad of colorful flowers in the Spring and majestic oranges, yellows, and reds in the Fall.
